Waterbury CT local hardcore legends 100 demons has released yet another banger of an album. After 20+ years of starting the band and releasing albums "In the Eyes of the Lord" (2000), and self titled, "100 Demons" (2004) the band is back in business. Their new album, "Embrace The Black Light" includes heavy breakdowns, insane lyrics and voices heard from miles away. The album includes 12 songs and is sitting at 37 minutes. The top streamed songs by fans consisting of opening track, "The Nightmare", "Meat For The Beast" and "Häxan Hammer".

Personally, the album is amazing. It really is a shame I was not even a thought yet in this world when they started out. But boy am I glad they released in the big 2026. Lead vocalist Pete Morcey killed it in every song. Jeremy Braddock and as well with the guitar. When I think of hardcore as a genre, 100 demons is amongst the first to pop into my head. My favorite song from the album has to be "Häxan Hammer". The drum intro, the haunting voice and lyrics, the heavy guitar and stomach aching bass it's all just chefs kiss. I constantly find myself at work like, "running through the streeeets climbing over the deeaadd" and my co workers give me a funny look.
